THIS GROUP BLOG is only a small part of a multi-faceted community oriented GROUP MINISTRY. I would like to emphasize Community. This GROUP MINISTRY'S primary aim is to help people BREAK FREE from the Word of Faith Movement and it’s false, decieving and illusive teachings on prosperity, the nature of man and God, and the Word of Faith Movements obscure, subversive and cultic control and manipulation tactics. ************************************************************************************************************************************ We fully advocate a return to a Christ centered Christianity. And we fully reject the Word of Faith Movement’s entirely new spiritual paradigm shift that has resulted in Christian class-ism and caused countless rifts and chasms among the people of God. And quite frankly, the Movement has turned many people to a neutered and Christ-less Christianity which is a different Gospel, proclaims another Jesus and comes from another Spirit. We seek the reconciliation of as many people as possible to the real Jesus and Gospel of the historical Protestant Reformation and mainline Christianity. ************************************************************************************************************************************ To do this we feature ex-Word of Faith testimonies (in a variety of formats) of those who have BROKEN FREE from the grips of this seductive movement. We are searching the internet for as many text, audio and video ex-Word of Faith testimonies we can find to feature on all this GROUP MINISTRY’S sites . AND we provide anyone who has left this heretical movement or has strong feelings against the movement, and would like to join us in speaking out against it,,, an opportunity to do so without making your own blogs, websites or video channels. SO PLEASE HELP US help others by speaking up and telling your story. But if you already have your own ministry speaking out against this movement,, we seek to collaborate with you and join our collective voices to make sure we are all heard and reach as many people as possible ************************************************************************************************************************************ We have already found and collaborated on some levels with dozens of sites devoted to exposing the WoF. And we seek to collect the most comprehensive blogroll (link list) and resource on this subject. SO PLEASE HELP US help others by speaking up and telling your story, or referring us to your favorite WoF exposure ministries, videos, songs, sites or testimonies so that we can make them available to others. You can share your written, audio or video testimonies on the testimony page and it will be distributed across all the GROUP MINISTIRY sites. ************************************************************************************************************************************ In additional to these outreach efforts, we will have an online 24/7 linear TV channel (with over 60 hrs of WoF exposure video) and a radio show,, which will also be available in on demand video from the TV channel. And will be broadcast the show live in video using SticKAM video conferencing software. We have scoured YouTube to come up a great amount of videos. And we will soon be harvesting as much WoF exposure video as we can from GodTube and Google Video. ***WE THANK EVERYONE who has produced these videos exposing the Word Faith movement***. We will be featuring the best cult/religious abuse recovery sites and are seeking to have biblical counselors to work with us in helping others. When time allows, we have plans to seek out a particular ministry that we know of that can teach us all how to become biblical councilors for those in need. We are praying this will come to pass as the ministry in mind has 20+ yrs experience teaching others the art and skill of biblical counseling. Regardless, we plan to have a vast resource reference list available for those who need it. But because it does not have search engine optimization capabilities. AS of now, it will only serve this one main purpose. Although it will contain much of the same WoF exposure material that is on the other sites. This site also has a Mogulus.com Player embedded in it streaming our large collection of Word of faith exposure videos 24/7. We already have a couple of self produced videos on this YouTube Channel. As Pastor John and myself produce more videos, they will be added to YouTube because it is a huge community and has much potential for spreading THE WORD on the Word of Faith. AND any appropriate video that may be sent to us will also be shared here and on our Mogulas TV Channel. So why not share your story and help us help others. ************************************************************************************************************************************ WHY STRESS COMMUNITY? ************************************************************************************************************************************ Well simply put,, this ministry will not be fully effective if it is not a group ministry. WE NEED YOUR HELP to spread THE WORD all around the world through the collective voices of those who have been negatively effected by the Word of faith movements teachings,,, AND/OR have BROKEN FREE. I could labor intensively to write a dozen biblical truth honoring articles against the Word of Faith Movement. BUT I believe that just one testimony from an ex-Word of Faith believer or pastor will do more good than all 12 of my collective articles. ************************************************************************************************************************************ If you do some research on the WoF, you will see that there is a vast number of ministries, sites and people that are opposing this movement. And every one of them will link you to many sites that do the same thing,,, SPEAK UP. These small networks have been growing in numbers and size in the last few years. IT IS OUR GOAL to link ALL OF US together in a greater capacity and function than just providing links to other like sites. WE AIM TO UNITE US ALL and to consolidate and maximize OUR collective efforts. In line with this long term thinking and planning, we are establishing an advisory and directing board that will be structured around a mission charter to insure this ministry will continue if anything should happen to the co-founders John Edwards and myself. AND this GROUP ministry is set up to be totally independent from my personal ministries. We would love to have you in the family. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ THE MINISTRIES HISTORY ************************************************************************************************************************************ To fully tell you about this GROUP MINISTRY, I must tell you about my past ministry experience as related to my motives for speaking AGAINST the Word of Faith Movement. You can read my Testimony on the Testimony Page and the ABOUT Damon Whitsell page under the Parent Page,, ABOUT GROUP BLOG AUTHORS. But this short testimony will only deal with the reasons that lead up to me deciding to start this group ministry and asking John to help me. ************************************************************************************************************************************ Because you should know that this ministry was NOT in my plans. GOD kinda dumped it on me and overrode MY PLANS. See, I only wanted to do two main ministry outreaches. Which where supposed to be 1. A CULT APOLGETICS Website, Blog and RADIO SHOW. 2. AND an OCCULT AGENDA EXPOSURE Website, Blog and RADIO SHOW. ************************************************************************************************************************************ I know according to my past ministry experience,,, that I can only do two shows a week and keep the shows at a high quality level, as there is much preparation and study time needed for each show episode. Having previously been in online radio ministry, and bailing out on God when THINGS GOT TOO ROUGH in my personal life. [I might have ran from God for a little while, but He was Just and Faithful to run me down,, even though I was no longer being faithful to Him] I spent the last 5 months of 2008 getting the websites, blogs and radio programs going to re enter into ministry,, because as my pastor says,,, I am not in the ministry, the ministry is in me. You can SEE ALL MY WEBSITES HERE ************************************************************************************************************************************ Then the Word of Faith teachings negatively affected my life in a new way. ************************************************************************************************************************************ Instead of myself being hurt by those who believe the Word of Faith, through their claims of Spiritual Superiority, and their insistence that I have to be healed of a Chronic Mood Disorder (Bi-Polar/Manic depression) caused by a brain injury in a car wreck,, or they say I MIGHT NOT EVEN BE SAVED. ************************************************************************************************************************************ THIS IS ONE THING but is not really that consternating because I have dealt with Religious Exclusivist Authoritarian types all my life. I have a Mormon Bishop and his Family and members of a cult group called Bible Missionary in my immediate Family. AND I have many Oneness Pentecostals and a “retired� Word of Faith Minister/Evangelist in my non immediate Family. But even being called a fool for believing in God all my life from my earthly father because of the treatment he received from his Oneness Pentecostal Family,,, was not as painful as when I saw the Word of Faith teaching almost totally destroy my Friend, whom I cherish much. BUT he is duped by the WoF and thinks Joel Osteen is the best things since sliced bread. TO HEAR MORE ABOUT MY FRIENDS TRAGEDY,, you can read my other testimony on the sites testimony pages. ************************************************************************************************************************************ SO I again started to read up on the WoF and was posting quit a bit of anti-WoF material on my Cult Apologetics blog. As a result I got a comment one day from person named CLS suggesting that I post some material from Justin Peters and his anti-WoF seminar. It turned out that CLS was a really nice Christian Lady named Caron Strong who used to do TV Shows [Jag, a day time soap and others]. She has agreed to come on the radio show to talk about THEOLOGY,, as she is a student of Gods word also. But as a result of posting the Justin Peters material that she requested, I met Ex-Word of Faith PASTOR John Edwards. I promised Miss Caron that I would try to get JP on the radio show. AND I CERTAINLY WILL TRY my best to get him on the show,,, because John has become a really GOOD friend and it might not have happened if Miss Caron had not suggested JP. Plus JP’s wok is some of the best out there. TY Caron!!! ************************************************************************************************************************************ Since then I have met all kinds of folks that have BROKEN FREE from the WoF and the bondage that my friend is in. AND I AM PRAYING that God will move in their hearts to help me help OTHERS by collectively telling their stories. And that God will continue to bring people into our lives, through these sites, that have went through the experiences that can help others so much. I started the freewebs site in early December after I first met John. John agreed to be a guest on my How2BecomeAChristian RADIO show. We did two shows together and then got to talking and decided we should do a weekly show on this subject. Since then the simple idea of showcasing and publishing ex-Word of Faith Testimonies on one site has evolved into plans for a multi faceted group ministry. ************************************************************************************************************************************ I think God desires this group ministry outreach to grow and prosper so that many people can be helped. I have put it top priority and have delayed the completion and launch of the Occult Agenda Exposure ministry outreach. It got bumped back till probably March. I took some time off from posting on my main blog and have accumulated about 100 WoF articles to post and am itching to do some more personal writing on the subject and John has much to say on the WoF and much in the works also. So I think these GROUP BLOGS will get a good amount of traffic generated by the post we will be making. BUT it will not be outstanding unless Ex-Word of Faith people will be contributing and authoring post on the group Blogs also. It would be even better to join is on the radio show.
